THE ASIAN WEDDING EXHIBITION is now in it’s 18th year and remains at the helm of the multi-million pound industry. The exhibition founded by Yogesh Kanani headed the vanguard into the South Asian wedding industry when it was launched for the first time in London in 1994. It has since stood the test of time and paved the way for a vast market in the UK and Europe.
The two-day event is the most well known event in the industry and is an annual and necessary, calendar fixture for engaged couples and their families alike.
The exhibition invites and presents the cream of the UK wedding industry, and now, international businesses to access the 10,000 brides and grooms, media outlets and potential customers that come through their doors annually.
With the average cost of South Asian weddings amassing an incredible £45,000 the market place is a lucrative one if the suppliers can be matched with the correct audience – something that AWE has been successful at doing since conception.

“Our debut show last year beat all expectations. Our key for a successful show, was to engage with the visitors and demonstrate the key strengths of our products and service’. We knew right away that the quality and substance of this event would be key for us as a leading engagement and wedding ring retailer to be intrinsically involved in”.
