| Marriages
may be made in heaven, but they don't happen in style
without the help of the Asian Wedding Exhibition.
A glitzy confluence of designer shows, wedding suppliers,
stylists and of course starry-eyed brides, grooms
and their equally excited families, the Asian Wedding
Exhibition is a much-awaited event every year by brides
and grooms across the country |
|
| AWE's
Managing Director, Yogesh Kanani has seen the exhibition
grow from its inaugural show in 1993, which attracted
3,000 visitors. Since then the show has grown over
consecutive years culminating in the 2007 show, which
attracted 15,000 visitors over two days. |
| |
| The
Asian Wedding Exhibition is more than just a show
it is an experience. The event attracts a mixture
of people engaged, single, married, Asian and
non-Asian. From exciting fashion shows, beautiful
mandaps, skilled henna and beauty artists, creative
photographers and designers, there is something for
everyone to enjoy. |
|
| Over
the years, the event never loses momentum. Each year,
AWE has a fantastic response to the exhibition from
both the public our exhibitors and blue chip sponsors
and it is now regarded as an important calendar date
for people of all ethnic origins." |
|
| The
secret of their success is succinctly summed up by
Mr. Kanani..."The philosophy of the company is
simple identify your market, try and understand
the requirements of the companies and the consumers
they are addressing, and pleasantly surprise both
markets by letting the results do the speaking." |
